Prevention measures include routine electrostatic cleaning, needlepoint bipolar ionization (cold plasma), HEPA air scrubbers, and MERV 13 air filter installation. Cold plasma is known to kill multiple bacteria, viruses and mold spores and based on recent and ongoing studies; it has demonstrated significant reduction of COVID-19 virus when installed.
We Partner with Industry Experts
Early in the pandemic, we developed and implemented industry-leading protocols to ensure best opportunity for disease prevention. Our collaborations include partnering with university and community-based epidemiology clinical experts, the North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology (SPICE), while also following state and CDC guidance.
Some of Our Additional Safety Measures Include:
Screening anyone who enters the facility – including our teammates prior to starting their shifts – at the door, including temperature checks
Patients and residents are screened at least every shift
Teammates and guests are wearing masks throughout their shifts/visits
